Urantia Foundation

Established 1950

Headquartered at 533 W. Diversey Parkway in Chicago, Illinois, Urantia Foundation is the original custodial organization for The Urantia Book. Its primary mandate is to preserve the text inviolate and to disseminate the teachings of the book throughout the world.

The Foundation oversees the translation program, with 25+ published translations in languages including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Chinese, and many more. It also operates the Urantia Book Internet School (UBIS), offering free courses in multiple languages.

Urantia Book Fellowship

Established 1955 / Reorganized 1989

Originally chartered as the Urantia Brotherhood in 1955, the organization separated from Urantia Foundation in 1989 and reorganized as the Fifth Epochal Fellowship, later renamed the Urantia Book Fellowship. It is the largest reader-service organization in the Urantia community.

The Fellowship focuses on dissemination, reader services, and community building. It operates the Pipeline of Light program (distributing books to underserved regions), hosts triennial International Conferences, publishes the Mighty Messenger and Fellowship Herald, and maintains an extensive network of study groups and local societies.

Urantia Association International (UAI)

Established c. 1989

Urantia Association International was formed in the wake of the 1989 split as a reader organization affiliated with Urantia Foundation. It operates as a global network of national and local associations, with a particular focus on international readership.

UAI hosts international conferences, supports study groups worldwide, and provides resources for readers in dozens of countries. It functions as a membership-based service organization fostering study and dissemination at the local, national, and international levels.

Joint Effort: Study Group Directory

Cooperative Program

One of the most visible signs of cooperation among the three major organizations is the Urantia Book Study Group Directory. Jointly sponsored by Urantia Foundation, the Urantia Book Fellowship, and Urantia Association International, the directory lists 544+ active study groups in 62 countries.

The directory helps readers around the world find local and virtual study groups, fostering community and collaborative study of The Urantia Book across organizational boundaries.
